New players are encouraged to attend both tryout dates. Returning players are required to attend at least one tryout date. Returning players are not permitted to wear Hawks gear (with the exception of batting helmets) during tryouts. Our Hawks program encompasses all of the Arrowhead School District and beyond. There are NO geographical restrictions.

In most cases players should try out for their age appropriate team. For example: If a player has just finished 5th grade then the player should be trying out for the U12/6th grade team as these tryouts are for forming teams for the next season.  A player cannot turn the next year old before May 1st. For example, a player trying out for 6th grade (U12) cannot turn 13 before May 1st of that season. Younger players are eligible to tryout for the U7/1st grade team, there is no age/grade minimum. Prospective players are strongly encouraged to register for tryouts and should register for the grade/age they are trying out for.
